Stimulated in LA
Just got off the phone with the little one who lives in LA at the moment. She's a trifle incensed as she's hearing that in lieu of a state refund, she can expect an IOU. She's contemplating paying her federal tax with California's IOU. Sign of the times.
Remember the great opportunities waiting out there for American businesses if only the embargo were lifted? Take a gander at Cuba's outstanding debt, that is the amount the bankrupt nation owes the rest of the world here.
Some highlights:
Venezuela $11.367 billion
Spain $3.200 billion
China $3.170 billion
Japan $2.775 billion
That's just the top 4 on the list provided by the Cuba Transition Project. What was that about extending credit to the regime?
