A New Havana?
Not sure what to make of this piece in April's Atlantic Monthly. I link to it for its quirky map of what might happen in an embargoless Havana. Don't ask me. See it here.

Not that gloomy..... I am in touch with people in the island working in the (unauthorized, unofficial) master plan of Havana. They have an interesting plan to make Havana into the world class capital it should be!
Remember the great opportunities waiting out there for American businesses if only the embargo were lifted? Take a gander at Cuba's outstanding debt, that is the amount the bankrupt nation owes the rest of the world here.
Some highlights:
Venezuela $11.367 billion
Spain $3.200 billion
China $3.170 billion
Japan $2.775 billion
That's just the top 4 on the list provided by the Cuba Transition Project. What was that about extending credit to the regime?
