A Little Color And A Little Fun

According to my mother, green is the color of hope, so I'll do this post in green and light a candle to Santa Barbara or someone.

Let's see if anyone can answer any of the following:

Who are the artists? (There's a built-in hint)
What building is lurking in the background?
Who is the gentleman with the cape?
What is the guy with the numbers doing?
What type of building does the old lady live in?

The Skull sisters.

Loteria.

The guy in the cape is probably El Caballero de Paris.

Building in background is el Capitolio.

And the woman's building? Would it be called a mediterranean revival architecture? Im not so sure on this one.

I'll leave the last one in the air for the moment, although it is oblique.

Hey rsnlk..........maybe it's not the 'building' you're talkin' about!

Val got just about all of them right. My mom calls the building a "cuarteria," but I can't be sure that is universal.
