You Have to Wonder...

...why the Drudge Report has seen fit to give nary a mention to the recent events with the ladies in white or even the demonstration of thousands of people in Miami at the same time they are spotlighting the maximum tyrant's approval of the healthcare bill, the arrival of a faux slave ship in Havana and the state of readiness of Cuban tourist infrastructure? Surely an oversight.

Why attack Drudge?

Not an attack. Love Drudge. Just pointing out the truth.

RSNLK,
Is a fact that Cuba is not important to non-Cubans. Is sad but is a fact. To most Americans Cuba is just a place to visit and enjoy the music, dance and maybe for the sexual deviants , a place to find a young girl or boy depending on your preference. Most Canadians, Spaniards, Germans, Italians, and other tourists do just that. They could not care less that within their earshot, there are people unjustly in jail for their beliefs, or that most Cubans do not have enough to eat while they bask in the Caribbean sun and eat lobsters, steaks and shrimps, food that most of the average Cubans have seen very little of in the last 50 years. Once their vacation is over, they go back to their country to continue with their lives without giving it a second thought. Heartless? Yes. Uncommon? no. Such is the world we live in these days.
I read the Drudge report daily too but I am not surprised that they failed to mention the Ladies in White or the march in Miami. To them these things are not important.

You're right. The stories I cited were on Drudge because in some way they directly referred to the US. It puts us in a terrible bind, because the stories that fall into this category tend to lend themselves to the regime's purposes.

How to educate the public, because you can bet the truth is not being taught in classrooms.
