My parents n...What memories this post brings back. My parents never had much money either, and yet my Father also always wore the slacks from one of his suits, a white dress shirt over an undershirt, and the hat. Mom never left the house without her hat and gloves, and I never wore slacks to school. People dressed a certain way, to suit the occassion. It was a more civil, more gracious society.
